Magnolia House Spa Salon Boutique
The concept of Magnolia House was born out of my desire to create a 'one-stop experience' where all of one's beauty and relaxation needs could be met. In 2003 no one in the Greater Burlington-Hamilton area was offering such an approach.
I come to this opportunity with a variety of different business experiences as a manager of a day spa and salon, but with extensive experience in the hospitality industry and social service environment. With time at a premium and the stress in the world today, I felt certain that there were others who would heartily embrace the timesaving convenience of 'having it all' in one place.
As we progressed through the planning and construction phases, I have learned a great deal more about the explosion in this business sector and the connection between health and beauty and fitness. Lifestyles and the stresses of the new workplace were forcing people into time constraints, but at the same time, creating the demand for 'quick fixes' for health and beauty maintenance.
